Anssi Hohti's (Allende/a98) first touch to electronic music was the Pet Shop Boys in the eighties.
He is still a fan of their work, and they've been probably the biggest musical influence for him. Also artists like Jarre and Jan Hammer have definetly had an influence on what he is doing now with their 80's instrumental synthesizer tracks.
In 1998 he discovered electronic music and a program called Fast Tracker 2. Later on a commercial track called "ATB - Don't Stop" hit the radio and tv and he was sold. That was probably the first instrumental electronic dance track that really got him goosebumps. And not too much after that trance music grabbed him and still hasn't let go.
In the year 2000 or 2001 he heard a set from Finnish dj called "Orkidea", who is still the most respected (and talented) Finnish trance dj. That set blew him away, it introduced him to a totally new more sophisticated trance sound. hypnotic riffs, amazing soundscapes, progressive building up and beautiful melodies.
Anssi's producing really started more seriously in 2002, and after hard learning and practising he finally got his first official releases in 2005. After that more and more releases and remixes started to get released.
In the future Anssi hopes that he can continue to release his tracks and hopefully get even more people to hear them and maybe even love them.
